General Information & Deadlines
1. Abstracts must be submitted electronically via the Online Services Portal no later than 1 April 2026. Authors may modify their submitted abstracts in the system until this deadline. After the submission deadline, all abstracts will automatically be considered final. Abstracts received by email or after the deadline will not be considered for the IHW 2026 Workshop.
2. Abstracts must be submitted under one of the following eight scientific topics:
Oxalate Metabolism & Oxalate-Induced Disease
PH2/PH3 – Clinical Aspects and Basic Research
Current Treatment of PH
Future Therapeutic Approaches for PH
PH Around the World
Urological Aspects
Enteric Hyperoxaluria
Other
3. All abstracts will be reviewed by the IHW 2026 Organizing Committee, which will assess both their formal aspects and scientific content. The Committee will decide which abstracts are accepted and may reconsider the final presentation type if necessary.
4. All presenting authors will receive a notification letter indicating the final presentation type by 15 April 2026 via email.
5. Accepted and registered abstracts will be published in the Abstract Book. Please ensure that your abstract has been carefully checked for correct spelling, punctuation, grammar, and formatting. Authors are fully responsible for the content of their abstracts. The organizer reserves the right to edit accepted abstracts prior to publication if necessary.
6. All accepted presenting authors are required to register after receiving the notification letter. Any presentation for which the presenting author has not registered by this date will be withdrawn from the event.
7. There is no limit to the number of abstracts that may be submitted per presenting author.
8. Submission of an abstract constitutes a commitment to attend the IHW 2026 Workshop or to send a qualified substitute who is capable of presenting the work and answering related questions.
9. An invitation to submit an abstract does not constitute an offer to cover travel, accommodation, or registration expenses associated with the event.
Abstract Formatting Guidelines
1. All abstracts must be written in English.
2. A preferred presentation type must be selected during submission from the following options:
- Oral Presentation
- Poster Presentation
- No preference
3. The abstract title is limited to 30 words and must use Title Case, capitalizing the first letter and each major word (e.g., This Is the Title of My Abstract).
4. There is no limit to the number of co-authors that may be listed for one abstract.
5. The first author listed will be considered the main author.
6. The abstract text must not exceed 300 words. There is no mandatory structure that must be followed.
7. Figures or images are not permitted in the abstract text.
