Prague is the capital of the Czech Republic and one of Europe’s most picturesque historic cities. Often referred to as the “City of a Hundred Spires,” it is renowned for its well-preserved Gothic, Baroque, and Renaissance architecture. 

The historic city center is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and offers a unique blend of culture, history, and vibrant urban life. 

Transportation

Taxi / Uber

From: Václav Havel Airport Prague (PRG)
Distance: approx. 20 km
Travel time: 25–40 minutes depending on traffic
Estimated cost: 700–1,000 CZK (approx. 28–40 EUR)

Official taxis are available outside both airport terminals. Ride-sharing services such as Uber and Bolt operate normally in Prague.

Public Transport

Route #1:

From the Airport:

  • Trolleybus 59 to Nádraží Veleslavín (Metro Line A – green line) 
  • Metro Line A to Můstek (6 stops - 10 min)
  • Exit via E10
  • Take the tram 14 (going in the direction of Spořilov) or 24 (going in the direction of Náměstí Bratří Synků) (Ride 6 stops - 8 min)
  • Exit tram at stop Albertov
  • Walk approximately 3-4 minutes to hotel (160m)

Total travel time: 45 - 55 minutes

Route #2:

From the airport:

  • (From Terminal 2) Bus 191 to Anděl (29 stops - 47 min)
  • Exit bus at stop Anděl
  • Walk to the tram stop (2 min) (120 m)
  • Take tram 7 (going in the direction of Lehovec) (ride 4 stops - 6 min)
  • Exit tram at stop Albertov
  • Walk approximately 3-4 minutes to hotel (160m)

Total travel time: 1 hr and 5 min
