Oral Presentation Guidelines
Presentation Format
All oral presentations must be accompanied by a PowerPoint presentation. Presenters are fully responsible for the presentation content (including order, graphics, etc.).
Please prepare your presentation using the latest version of Microsoft PowerPoint (but older versions are also supported). The screen aspect ratio will be 16:9. Please avoid using Apple Keynote and Prezi presentations, as the on-site computers will support PowerPoint format only. Mac users can export their files to PowerPoint by selecting “Export to > PowerPoint”. Please ensure that your presentation is saved in a compatible format, as indicated below.
Supported Files
PPTX/PDF (500 MB maximum)
When saving your final presentation, please make sure that you include any video or multimedia files. Please note that any external content should be embedded directly in the presentation.
In case you prefer a template with the IHW 2026 event graphics, it can be downloaded (optional):
File Upload
There will be two options for uploading your presentation:
- Online in advance (recommended)
You will be encouraged to upload your presentation online before arriving at the venue.
The online file upload feature will be accessible in early June 2026, and the upload link will be announced in due course.
OR
- On-site at the venue
If your presentation has not been uploaded online, it must be handed over to the IT personnel with a USB stick as far in advance as possible but at least 2 hours before the start of your session. You will be able to verify that your presentation is running smoothly.
The Speakers’ Preview Room is located next to the lecture room and the opening hours are as follows:– Friday, 26 June 2026 08:00 – 17:20
– Saturday, 27 June 2026 08:00 – 15:10
Please note that presenting from your personal laptop will not be permitted in the lecture room.
